February - Cocktail of the Month...

We LOVE creating events here at the house and we LOVE adding those small details to make it more personable and to create those 'special moments'  - which is what we are all about.

 

Offering a special pre-dinner cocktail to your guests can show that attention to detail and can really set the scene for a special evening.

One that we have been loving this month is the old classic Negroni. The drink harks back to the early 1900's in Italy where a Count asked for his favourite drink to be tweaked a little and so created the Negroni. A mixture of Gin, Campari and Vermouth and a twist of orange peel the Negroni will set your night off on the right track. Served by the bar staff on a silver tray, while you and your guests catch the last of the summer rays outside on the verhandah this will be a 'special moment ' in your evening.

 

 

Recipe:

 

1 oz. London dry gin

1 oz. Campari

1 oz. vermouth rosso

cocktail glass

 

 

Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Strained into a chilled glass and garnish with a twist of orange
